Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she met in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows after her change of religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on June 20, 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to the series. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has gained a significant online fan base.
